Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (Entry Level)

Role Summary: Phirdos Kenya Limited is the Wholesale & Retail Franchise Owner for Clarks and Skechers in East Africa.

We are looking for talented and skilled logistics personnel to join our fast-growing team.

Key Responsibilities

·  Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.

·  Carry out packing and warehousing, and storage duties in preparation for the specifics shipment.

·  Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.

·  Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.

·  Responsible for tracking, receiving, and stocking all goods ordered.

·  Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements


·  Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.

·  Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.

·  Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.

·  Prepare accurate shipment and supply reports as advised from time to time by the Director of Logistics and corporate service.

Qualifications

·  Proven experience as logistics coordinator. At least 1.5 years of proven experience.

·  Experience working in the retail industry will also be an added advantage.

·  Knowledge of laws and regulations i.e., IDF, KEBS etc. is an added advantage.

·  Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.

·  Must be computer literate.

·  Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·  BSc/BA or Diploma in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field
