Position: Account Manager, East Africa (Tanzania)
Reporting to: Regional
Sales Manager, East Africa

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Selling & engaging resellers by leveraging
internal brand resources to offer value to the channel & moving deals
and projects to close
- Building, configuring and sizing solutions as
per the products and solutions in business portfolio as allocated
- Qualifying security, availability &
virtualization opportunities using go-to-market strategies
- Consistent growth of active reseller base
within the allocated region
- Facilitating value-add partner enablement
programs; trainings, boot-camps, briefings & marketing events
- Pipeline & forecast management and
reporting
- Generating and following up on business leads;
working in liaison with the sales team
- Qualifying leads and prioritizing
opportunities within the region
- Continuous learning and development based on
product knowledge and certifications
- All other duties assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural
environment and with minimum supervision
- Ability to use executive, presentation, event
management skills and tools in speeding up sales cycles and general
solutions' understanding
- Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
- At least three (3) years working experience in
a similar role (account management)
- Relevant basic product knowledge and
certifications
- Understanding of the Region’s market dynamics
