Profile Introduction: Our client, an International Company, dealing with the provision of solutions in energy, healthcare, transportation and finance is seeking to recruit a Fleet Administrator based in Kenya. 

The candidates should have vast experience in Fleet administration and procurement activities
 

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing And Supplies
  • Must have at least 2 years working experience
  • CIPS Certification is an added advantage
  • Exceptional Public Relations and communication;
Job Specification

Fleet Management Role
  • Coordinate on-boarding & allocation of vehicles as per Company  policy
  • Ensure accuracy & completeness of vehicle documents (statutory requirements) for purchasing, renewals & disposal
  • Plan & coordinate effective maintenance & repair of vehicles – Keep Log Book per vehicle
  • Educate drivers and vehicle users on best practices in automobile use and defensive driving techniques
  • Understand local requirement changes for vehicles in-country & any fleet related changes with probable impact on Company fleet
  • Effectively utilize fleet management applications
Buyer Role
  • Drive sourcing initiatives on savings, supplier performance and supplier base rationalization.
  • Sourcing execution for all assigned indirect commodities and suppliers across the region for all business within the organization.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations utilizing appropriate negotiation and purchasing analysis techniques and implementation of proper contracts with emphasis on quality, price, delivery and service necessary to meet requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams.
  • Interact with Global commodity leaders to ensure global initiatives are rolled out
  • Vet purchase requisitions created prior to PO being created, negotiate and implement purchase contracts
  • Supply agreements and strategies that comply with company objectives
