In our vision to develop our market share in the east African countries, we are looking for motivated technical sales persons to take over the business development for triple play communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Introduce, demonstrate and promote all current and new products.
  • Evaluate, train and motivate new and existing distributor sales personnel.
  • Continually evaluate the territory distributor framework to assure sufficient coverage and efficiency.
  • Maximize market penetration in assigned segments.
  • Sets sales objectives for distributors and their sales force.
  • Evaluate competitive situations and recommend appropriate tactics.
  • Conduct product and system training programs for individual and groups (at both distributor and contractor level.)
  • Implement pricing policies within market segments as directed by Regional Sales Management.
  • Execute distributor-level product promotion programs.
  • Coordination of intelligence gathering with Regional Sales Manager and LATICRETE GOLD KEY Distributors.
  • Maintenance of Project Tracking files and Competitive Date Pricing files.
  • Submit quarterly report summarizing LATICRETE performance and current competitive activity.
  • Update and maintain existing customer and trade reference mailing lists, as required.
  • Complete follow up on inquiries and leads forwarded from Regional Sales
  • Management and report back on outcomes.
  • Investigate, document and report all complaints and claims for service in territory and coordinate same with Technical Service Division.
  • Attend annual National Sales Meeting, and annual trade shows as directed by MANAGEMENT.
  • Accompany distributor sales personnel to head office for technical training sessions on periodic basis.
Qualification and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field or business computing
  • Diploma in Sales/Marketing or Business Administration.
  • 2 years working experience selling technical related products in the industry.
  • Applicants with professional qualifications in other business disciplines and adequate direct selling experience of consumer durables to the above sectors will also be considered.
  • Excellent Communication skills at all levels are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in any of the regions will be added advantage.

The terms attached to this position are fixed pay after 3 months probation period with generous performance based commissions.
