Responsibilities
- Ensuring that
all departmental issues/supplies are done on time and completed as per the
designated days
- Ensuring all the
stocks in the designated areas are accurate and at the required levels
- Ensuring that
all stocks related discrepancies are reported on time and adjusted with
clear explanation
- Ensuring zero
expiries by constantly monitoring stock levels and following the expiries
SOP within the expected time
- Responsible for
receiving stock from suppliers. Should ensure that the stock received are
what was ordered as per the LPO, are of good quality correct quantity and
within the expiry guidelines.
- Ensuring all the
invoices are keyed in the system within 48 hours, with correct capture of
the necessary data, including batch and expiry dates.
- Championing the
automation of services in the designated areas, key areas being invoicing
and credit notes issuance.
- Tracking
negative billings and recommending course of action.
- Ensuring that
stock requisition are done on time to remain within the prescribed stock
level.
- Auditing
departmental requisition before issues to ensure that previously issued
items have been utilized and escalating any discrepancies to the
supervisor.
- Training and
mentoring of new staff.
- Any other duty
as may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma
in Purchase Supplies/Procurement and Logistics or relevant studies.
- 2-3 years of
experience.
- Hospital
experience is a MUST.
