Task description
We are looking for one (1) Online Volunteer who under
the guidance of the Environment and Resilience Unit project support officer and
in close collaboration with the National Disaster Operations Centre ICT lead
will Design, develop, and maintain Power BI Emergency Operation Centre
dashboard and reports. In particular, the/each Online Volunteer is asked to:
Develop an Emergency data collection form linked to
the Power-Bi dashboard- A sample data collection form will be provided
Design, develop, and maintain Emergency data Power BI
dashboards and reports
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading
(ETL) processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their
data needs.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented
in the dashboards.
Train end-users on how to use the dashboards and
reports effectively.
Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the
Power BI infrastructure.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features,
updates, and best practices.
Requirements
Required experience
Candidates should have Proficiency in Power BI and
other data tools and Experience with SQL, DAX, and other data languages.
They should have Strong understanding of data
analysis and visualization principles, Strong communication skills and working
well in a team.
Experience in a similar role, Knowledge of ETL
processes and data modeling and Familiarity with other data visualization
tools.
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related
field is considered an asset. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to
detail.
