Tradestar Kenya Limited is a fast growing outsourcing organization situated in Thika town.
We are looking for a creative
and talented e-learning Software Developer to work
for a period of 6 or more.
The developer will join the
team and help us design and deliver engaging and effective solutions on an
existing e-learning program application for mobile and PC devices.
Responsibilities
Add features to make the e-learning moodle efficient
for both pc and mobile users
Design, develop and build advanced components for
the e-learning moodle
Work with outside data sources and API's
Design and develop e-learning courses that are
engaging and interactive.
Create virtual worlds to teach skills
Develop custom software to integrate with new
technologies
Create materials needed to create e-learning courses
e.g. scripts, storyboards.
Work with instructional designers, graphic designers
and programmers to support e-learning content requirements
Work on bug fixing and improving application
performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new
technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Contribute to technical design and progress meetings
Write test versions of program code
Keep accurate records of the development process,
changes and results
Review test results and fix bugs
Education and experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Information
Technology/Computer Science/Software development/Software Engineering
Practical experience with PHP/Javascript/MySQL
Good knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS
Experience with DHTMLX is an added advantage
Other Requirements

an understanding of development processes like

excellent communication skills with fluency in
English
the ability to work with people at all levels,
including non-technical staff

deadlines.

distance of travel from home to office in Thika must
be less than 60 min
should have written reporting skills
Salary: Remuneration
Kes.30K per month
