Our
Client is a well-established Fertilizer manufacturing company seeking to hire a
Plant Electrician in their West Pokot plant.
Key
Roles and Responsibilities
· Installing
and repairing electrical components such as circuit breakers, switches,
transformers, and fuses.
· Testing
electrical systems to identify problems with wiring and circuitry
· Installing
electrical wiring and equipment in new buildings to ensure compliance with
codes.
· Inspecting
electrical equipment such as motors, generators, welding machines, and
transformers to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
· Maintaining
electrical equipment such as light fixtures, motors, generators, and switches
to ensure that they are working properly.
· Operating and maintaining computerized monitoring systems that control electrical equipment such as motors and generators.
· Installing
lighting systems such as fluorescent lights, incandescent bulbs, light
fixtures, and spotlights.
· Installing
electrical wiring and equipment in existing buildings to bring them up to code
or repair existing systems that are not working properly.
· Proposing
solutions to electrical problems such as short circuits and power surges.
Qualifications
and Skills Requirement
· Technical
and vocational qualification.
· Over 5
years in an Industrial environment.
· Electrical
Installation License.
· Have
good classroom management skills.
· Possess
problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
