a) Job Specification
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Assist
in Preparing vouchers and committal documents in accordance with the laid
down rules and regulations;
- Assist
in undertaking primary data entry;
- Assist
in Filing accounting documents;
- Assist
in preparing simple financial reports;
- Assist
in preparing invoices;
- Cheque
writing; and
b) Person Specification
For appointment to this
grade a candidate must have: –
- Accounting
Technician Diploma (ATD) or Certified Public accountant (CPA) Part 1; and
- Meets
the provisions of the Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
c) Skills
- Proficiency
in computer applications;
- Communication
skills; and
- Analytical
skills and keen to details.
d) Competencies
- Ability
to work under pressure;
- Ability
to work independently and in a team; and
- Ability
to multi-task and prioritize work.
