Job Purpose
Reporting
to the Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation, the Monitoring and Evaluation
Officer II will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating all Hospital
strategies, policies, programmes and projects.
Responsibilities
·
Collecting, compiling and analyzing
data from reports submitted by department/ units and preparing consolidated
progress reports.
·
Performing desk audits, studies and
evaluations of on-going policies and strategies and implementation processes of
programmes and projects.
·
Consolidating the Hospital’s resource
mobilization needs and prioritizing resource mobilization requirements.
·
Designing and piloting of all data
collection instruments.
·
Conducting operational researches to
identify process improvement initiatives to improve organization performance.
·
Conducting market and competitive
analysis surveys, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
·
A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the
following disciplines: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Monitoring
&Evaluation, Demographics techniques, operation research, survey
techniques, Strategy or relevant field from the recognized University.
·
At least one (1) year experience in
research or data collection.
·
Evidence of proficiency and knowledge
in Computer Applications and statistical packages.
·
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter
Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

Job Purpose
Reporting
to the Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation, the Data Analyst I will be
responsible for conducting full lifecycle analysis, monitoring performance and
quality control plans to identify improvements.
Responsibilities
·
Interpreting data, analyzing results
using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports.
·
Developing and implementing
databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that
optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
·
Acquiring data from primary or
secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems.
·
Identifying, analyzing and
interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
·
Filtering and “cleaning” data by
reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and
correct code problems.
Qualifications
·
Bachelor of Science in Mathematics,
Economics, Computer Science, Statistics or its accepted equivalent.
·
Proven working experience of at least
one (1) year as a data analyst.
·
Proven knowledge and experience in
data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation
techniques.
·
Proven Knowledge and experience in
using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
·
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter
Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
