Job Purpose
Formulate,
review and interpret occupational therapy policies, procedures, standards and
guidelines. Manage Occupational Therapy services at all levels of care. Provide

occupational therapy process in physical disabilities, paediatrics, sensory
integration, mental health, geriatrics, ergonomics, home based care, school

Registered
Nurse Responsibilities include:

Assessing, planning, implementing
nursing interventions and evaluating patient’s outcomes;

Providing appropriate healthcare
services including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI),
immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery;

Providing health education and
counseling to patients/clients on identified health needs;

Qualifications
For
appointment to this grade a candidate must have:

A minimum of five (5) years relevant
work experience in a busy Hospital with at least two hundred (200) bed
capacity.

Diploma in any of the following
disciplines; Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered
Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/Midwifery or
Kenya Registered Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized
institution.
·
Registration Certificate issued by
the Nursing Council of Kenya.
·
Valid practicing license from Nursing
Council of Kenya.
·
Proficiency in computer applications.

Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter

Job Purpose
·
Formulate, review and implement
dental policies, standards, guidelines and protocols.
·
Provide appropriate information to
patients on diagnosis, treatment or management and consequences of orofacial
conditions and diseases.
·
Performance of procedures on the
orofacial complex teeth, hard and soft tissues surrounding or supporting the
teeth and rehabilitation of dentition.
·
Manage of impacted teeth by surgical
extraction and disimpaction.
·
Investigate, administer local
analgesia and/or sedative drugs and prescription of medicines in connection
with procedures on teeth, jaws and the soft tissues surrounding or supporting
teeth.
·
Provide specialized clinical dental
care in different fields of dentistry as per specialty.
·
Provide community dentistry, dental
health education and promotion of preventive oral health care services geared
towards prevention, surveillance, control, diagnosis and treatment of
oral-facial diseases.

Provide dental emergency response and

Provide leadership in the management
