Responsibilities:

Reporting to the officer in charge,
he/she will: –
·
Record all sources of county revenue.
·
Maintain financial and online payment
systems
·
Collect information, calculate taxes,
fees, and other expenses, and do billing.
·
Receive payment and issuing receipts
to customers
·
Deposit cash and check in the bank on
a daily basis
·
Inform and issue customers with
demand notices
·
Maintain utilities records and
produced monthly reports on collections
·
Perform coding and reconciliation of
customers’ accounts
·
Research and resolve discrepancies in
revenue collections
·
Process daily cash receipts and
verified cashier totals
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, an
officer must have: –
·
Holder of Certificate in Accounts or
KCSE grade D- and above;
·
Proficiency in computer application
skills;
·
Minimum two (2) years relevant
experience.
