Lori is building the cutting-edge logistics infrastructure for trucking in Africa. The start-up is tackling a massive issue – $180 billion is spent annually on haulage across Africa, which means that up to 75% of a product’s cost is due to logistics (compared to 6% in the US).
Lori’s tech-enabled and operations-driven marketplace efficiently connects transport to cargo. The supply chain management system brings transparency and has pushed significantly improved flexibility, reliability, and cost savings (savings upwards of 15%). The company has experienced a 30% month over month compounded growth since product launch in May 2017.
Lori is seeking two talented and hard-working individuals. One will be a key member of the finance team and the other of the legal team. The roles will require significant amount of attention to detail and integrity. The ideal candidates need to have the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to execute to the highest degree of accuracy.


What you will do
·         Management of physical and digital accountable documents.
·         Receiving invoice packs from transporters.
·         Verifying that all required documents for subsequent customer invoicing are included in the pack and escalating exceptions
·         Accurate and timely posting into the POS in order to maintain a maximum document turnaround time of 1 week
·         Timely response to all business partner (Business Development team) queries relating to documentation
·         Upkeep of all data entry duties
·         Any special projects given by the Finance / Legal Managers

·         1-2 years’ work experience

·         Experience in a finance / legal department of a busy organization
