JOB LOCATION: Chavakali, Kenya

our 3,000+ strong staff serves over 200,000 smallholding farmers and helps them
to grow their way out of hunger and poverty.
Roles
·
Inventory Management – managing
deliveries and transfers of goods from suppliers and to other warehouses.
·
Maintaining accurate records – the
warehouse associate will take responsibility for any missing or unaccounted for
inventory!
·
Daily reporting of warehouse
activities.
·
Counting the inventory.
·
Maintaining the safety and security
of all inputs stored in the warehouse.
·
Organizing all inventory per
established warehouse layout.
·
Preparing warehouse for physicals
counts by internal auditors.
·
Receiving official OAF visitors to
warehouse e.g (OAF Donors).
·
Receiving and preparing invoices from
NCPB.
·
Casual labourer screening, training
and orientation.
·
Managing warehouse staff during input
delivery season.
·
Payment document processing e.g.
rent, casual, electric bill, fleet vendor etc TS

Requirements
·
1-2 years’ experience in logistics.
·
Should be proficient in Microsoft
Word and Excel.
·
Strong work ethic – will be
responsible for leading the warehouse team during the busy delivery season.
·
Leadership experience – Warehouse
Associate will supervise a team of causal laborers
·
Strong Math Skills – Essential that
all counts be accurate
·
Integrity – Warehouse Associate will
bear personal responsibility for inputs in the warehouse
·
Positive attitude – Open to feedback
from supervisors

IT Officer

We are seeking experienced and
talented individual to take up the position of IT Officer in the IT Operations.
The IT Officer will be based in Kakamega. The IT Officer will report directly
to the IT Manager
Roles
·
Provide hardware technical support –
laptops
·
Provide software technical support –
Windows, and applications
·
OS maintenance on user computers –
periodical checkup on all OAF laptops
·
Basic IT projects – special projects
as needed
·
Follow and write IT Support Processes
– create IT documentation for OAF Kenya
·
Keep track of problems and repairs –
log all tasks performed and provide for check-ins
·
Training on the following skills –
Spiceworks Reporting, backup systems
Requirements
·
At least a minimum of a college
Diploma certificate or its equivalent in ICT studies, specialization in
Computer& basic Network support disciplines is a plus.
·
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills is a must have.
·
Demonstrate understanding of Windows
operating systems, and its operations.
·
Multitasking ability, willing to work
long hours during busy seasons.
·
Integrity, be proactive and with a
positive attitude.
·
Demonstrate analytic thinking with
strong attention to detail
·
Team player, self-motivated and
ability to work under minimum supervision.
·
Fluent in Kiswahili and English
