The Society of Clerks at the Table in Kenyan County Legislatures (SOCATT) is registered as a Society under the Societies Act. 

SOCATT is a not-for-profit organization that works with Legislatures in Kenya and internationally towards the fulfillment of the promise of devolution. 

The objects of the society are to provide a forum for professionals serving in the Kenyan Legislatures to share the procedures and best practices.

SOCATT is in the process of recruiting an Executive Director to manage its growing portfolio.

Key competence and skills for this position are:
  • A degree in Programme Management, Finance, Public Administration, Economics, Law, Political Science, Social Sciences or any other relevant / equivalent field from a recognized University: a Masters Degree from a recognized University will be an added advantage:
  • A minimum of 5 years work experience in program administration, in a similar or equivalent position with proven track record of effectively leading an organization/program:
  • Fund raising experience with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach or mentor staff manage people, and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage budgets
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills: a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary protect skills.
