Marketing & Customer Care Manager

Saman Associate is currently in the process of recruiting a Marketing & Customer Care Manager.

The core responsibility of this role is to establish and implement marketing strategies on public relations, corporate image, advertising and promotional activities.

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • Promote a public relations and creating customer relationships;
  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy in alignment with the company objectives;
  • Develop a marketing budget and share with the other managers;
  • Establish the calendar of events for corporate and other event organizers;
  • Develop proposals seeking participation of such events where the company products can be displayed;
  • Organize promotional events in various the shopping malls, corporate events, churches etc;
  • Prepare for materials needed and as well as logistics  for events to create awareness;
  • Facilitate market research to understand current market conditions and competitor information;
  • Evaluate the productivity of the marketing events, advertising and promotional activities;
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities on a weekly basis;
  • Determine, manage the marketing budget and deliver value within agreed timelines;
  • Maintain good client relationships and satisfaction through teamwork with sales people
  • Provide support and advice to customers using the company’s products or services;
  • Conduct continuous follow-ups of  customers' problems, which may be complex or long-standing problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants;
  • Manage customer complaints or any major incidents;
  • Establish accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers;
  • Analyze statistics or other data to determine the level of customer service the  organization is providing;
  • Produce reports on customer feedback, analysis and feedback.

The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:-
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field;
  • Three (3) years experience in FMCG, PR or event management
  • Proven track record in developing and executing results orientated sales and marketing strategies; building brands and launching new products and services
  • Experience briefing, managing and working with external suppliers (including marketing agencies) and internal stakeholders to ensure activities are in line with strategy and on brand;
  • Experience in market  research and data analysis
  • Ability to communicate well with people of all levels
  • Added advantage to those experiences in property sales and marketing
  • Experience working in a marketing agency is an added advantage.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong relationships with partners and clients;
