Ltd a leading Small and Medium Agro Enterprise, based at Chepkoilel Junction 6km from Eldoret Town. An actor
in the value chain of the horticultural produce in the high potential North
Rift Region, i.e.UasinGishu, Nandi, and Elgeyo –Marakwet counties.
Agronomists
3 Positions (Uasin
Gishu, Nandi and Elgeyo Marakwet Counties)
They will be posted to serve in either of the three counties as Agronomists, who will be required to provide extension and training services to the small holder farmers participating in the program on crop productivity and production planning, safe use of pesticides, export quality specification, post harvest handling and household nutrition.
Requirements
A diploma or degree in agriculture, horticulture, agricultural economics or any related qualifications.
Experience working
with smallholders and specifically horticulture will be a definite advantage.
Field Extension Officers- (To be deployed to Elgeyo Marakwet County.)
They will support the agronomist in the Elgeyo-Marakwet County
Requirements
A diploma or certificate in agriculture, horticulture with experience in implementing smallholder projects in the community will be a definite advantage
Extensive experience working in in the North Rift will be an added advantage.
Monitoring and Evaluation

She/he will monitor the implementation of the deliverables as scheduled in the scope of work, carry out impact assessment of all production and post harvest management interventions.
