Photographer/ Videographer Job in Kenya

Duties and Responsibilities

Operating professional photography and videography equipment including cameras, lights, lenses and audio recording devices;

Capturing and producing compelling photos and videos in Assembly events

Selecting and preparing equipment, props and locations for photo shoots, ensuring all technical and logistical aspects are in place

Editing photos and videos for publication in various formats to enhance quality using standards software

Organizing and maintaining an archive of digital photos including raw files, edited images and videos and metadata in the appropriate format

Maintaining all photography and video equipment as expected and engaging relevant stakeholders in case of support required

Staying updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and production

Requirements for Appointment


For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –

Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts or related field from a recognized institution;

OR

A Diploma in Photography/Visual Arts from a recognized institution with at least 5 years work experience of as a professional photographer and Videographer (Proof will be required)

Proficiency in photo and video editing software such as Adobe premiere and Photoshop

Excellent technical skills in operating professional photography and videography equipment.

Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and shoot creative pictures
