Introduction:
A Luxury Beach Resort in Southeast Coast Zanzibar is
seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead their production team.
This is an immediate start position.
Job Description:
The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all
kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and
presentation. Leads a dedicated team, creates innovative menus, and maintain an
exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the kitchen team, including training
and development.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect the
resort’s standards and guest preferences.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality,
preparation, and presentation.
Monitor and manage budgets. food costs, inventory,
and procurement.
Maintain compliance with health and safety
regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless
service delivery.
Handle guest feedback and continuously improve the
dining experience.
Requirements:
Diploma in food production from a reputable college
Proven track record of culinary leadership in a 4 or
5-star hotel/resort
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional culinary skills with a creative flair for
menu design.
Thorough knowledge of food safety and sanitation
standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
