Applicants shall be holders of a KCSE Certificate or its equivalent, a certificate in Food Production or equivalent qualifications from a recognized learning Institution. They should have five (5) years’ experience as a Cook grade IV (4) or Assistant Senior Cook, grade IV (4).

Duties and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will among other assignments be expected to:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes,

Ensure that all food is of high quality and meets University standards,

Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency,

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen,

Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management,

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner and Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
