Assistant Land & Property Manager Job in Kenya

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated assistant Land & Property Manager to assist in overseeing the day-to-day land & properties operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Marketing Land & property management, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a deep understanding of the property market.

Duties/Responsibilities but not limited to:

Working closely with the Property manager, he/she will be responsible for the planning, implementation and reporting the progress of all land & property activities especially on matters of marketing.

He/she will be expected to accomplish the following:


Supervise and manage all Land & properties including all Marketing activities.

Supervise the activities of all staff and contractors/vendors engaged by the company on all site acquisition/collocation activities.

Ensure all relevant permits are obtained from permitting agencies (Municipal/Local Assemblies, etc) regarding site acquisitions and erection/renewal of constructions.

Oversight, reporting and governance of permitting activities required prior to new site construction and of subsequent renewals.

Be conversant with all legal requirements on site acquisitions/collocations and construction/erection of buildings.

Prepare and keep up to date data/documentation on all site acquisitions/collocations, novation for all land & properties.

Prepare and file weekly reports on activities of Land & properties and updates on novation.

Experience

Business Degree: Must hold a Property, Land Economics, Real Estate or Surveying/Valuation-related degree as a minimum. Those without degrees but with proven work experience will be equally considered.

Work Experience: 3-5 years experience in site acquisition/collocation and Estate Management activities in addition to commercial property management experience.

Marketing experience in Land and property sales.

Knowledge & Skills:

Land and estate management law and practices.

Land Acquisition, freehold purchase, and leasing.

Site Identification; Site Permitting & Reporting

MS Office literate
