Reporting: Wholesale Manager.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wholesale Supervisor to join our Wholesale team. The ideal candidate must possess strong supervisory, sales and marketing abilities, excellent route planning skills, and exceptional report writing skills. This position requires the individual to be flexible and willing to travel extensively to the remote areas without
hesitation.

Responsibilities:


  • Supervise a team of van sales men, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure efficient operations and achievement of sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase and maximize profitability.
  • Effectively plan and organize routes for the van sales team, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with van sales men, customers, and other key stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the wholesale team to develop and implement strategies to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, key performance indicators, and market analysis to inform decision-making processes.
  • Address any customer complaints or inquiries in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Wholesale Supervisor or similar role in the FMCG retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing strategies, with a demonstrated ability to achieve target.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in route planning ensuring efficient delivery operations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, report writing and market analysis
  • A Customer-oriented mind-set, with ability to address customer concerns effectively.
  • Adaptability and willingness to travel frequently, to the remote arears at short notice.
  • Highly organized, time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • A valid driver’s license.
