Job
Purpose
Ensuring proper planning and monitoring of all business and
administrative support in all required HR areas such as but not limited to
developing and implementing personnel policies, ensuring that SABIS® HR
practices are in full compliance with local laws and regulations, monitoring
the recruitment process, and overseeing training and on-boarding of new staff
members.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Handle the
manpower planning exercise for own school and share the consolidated list
of vacancies with the School Director and Regional HR Manager
- Review and
analyze the attendance and leave reports, raising concerns when needed,
and suggesting corrective action to School Director and Regional HRM
- Take charge of
all recruitment activities related to local and expat staff such as but
not limited to, posting vacancies, screening and shortlisting resumes,
organizing technical tests / demo lessons, conducting HR interview,
following up on interviews with line managers, reviewing feedback received
from referees, etc
- Suggest new ways
to attract talented candidates and retain existing ones
- Ensure all
feedback is being recorded on SABIS® Careers and that candidates’ files
and applications are always updated
- Coordinate with
the relevant parties regarding visa applications and work permits for
expat staff
- Handle all employee
relations matters and reverting back to School Director and Regional HRM
when needed
- Review and
prepare the Letters of Intent (LOI), employment contracts, confidentiality
and waiver agreement, etc
- Prepare and
deliver trainings to staff members at own school(s) and handle the
onboarding program of all employees including the HR Orientation
presentation during teachers’ training and induction programs
- Ensure a proper
and timely issuance and renewal of insurance policies
- Maintain and
organize the HR files and keeping all records up-to-date (both soft and
hard)
- Develop and
monitor the implementation of all personnel policies, ensuring that all
employees are abiding by internal rules and regulations, and recommending
enhancements to the Regional HR Manager when needed
- Oversee the HR
roundtable exercise at own school(s), working closely with the School
Director(s) on recommended actions, and sending a consolidated report with
suggested plans to the Regional HR Manager
- Prepare the
salary increment sheets and share with the Regional HRM for review with
the Regional Operations Director
- Develop and
review the Performance Improvement Plans and Talent Development Programs
- Oversee the
classroom observation process at own school and share
concerns/recommendations with the School Director and Regional HR Manager
- Review and
ensure a yearly update of all HR related documents and websites such as
the Employee Handbook, Onboarding Website, etc
- Perform other
tasks as requested as they arise and as delegated by Management
Ideal
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Human Resources or any relevant degree
- A master’s
degree is a plus
- English and
Arabic proficient
- Human Resources
Certification is a plus
- 5 to 8 years of
experience
