Digital Marketing Account Manager Job in Kenya

About the Job 

Our client a through the line (TTL) advertising, marketing, branding, digital and creative agency with  presence in Africa is seeking to recruit two digital marketing account managers. The Creative Agency  works with brands helping them build branding, marketing, activations and promotions,  merchandising, communications, route to market strategies and digital strategies while telling their 

stories through videography, photography and media production. Responsibilities encompass crafting digital campaigns, overseeing clients’ social media engagement, and assessing the efficacy  of marketing initiatives. 

Roles and responsibilities 

Assessing client requirements through face-to-face or virtual meetings to delineate • their digital objectives. 

Formulating and executing a comprehensive digital strategy for designated clients. • Supervising the online presence of clients and pinpointing areas necessitating enhancement. 

Delivering impactful social media strategies and providing training to clients as required. • Evaluating the efficacy of digital strategies by monitoring metrics such as customer conversion rates and cost-per-click. 

Cultivating enduring, positive relationships with clients to foster trust. 

Generating regular reports on the performance of digital advertising campaigns. • Serving as a primary contact for clients to address digital management inquiries or issues. • Staying updated on developments in the digital industry. 

Conducting performance reviews and analysing the digital marketing activities of clients.  • Proficiency in analysing marketing outcomes, effectively communicating both successes and shortcomings, and proposing recommendations for further enhancement. 

The desired candidate will have but not limited to: 

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field. 

At least 3 years of experience as a digital account manager, or a similar role. • Excellent knowledge of digital best practices, marketing strategies, and social media management. 

Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience liaising with clients at senior level. 

Experience in participating in new business pitches. 

Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail. • Experience and a strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as, online advertising, SEO, and social media. 

Able to act on own initiative, but also work as part of an established team. • Be able & willing to make decisions and be accountable & take responsibility for those decisions.
