Our client in the IT industry is seeking to hire a Senior
Compliance and Infrastructure Officer who will play a pivotal role in ensuring
the company’s adherence to ISO and other standards while concurrently
overseeing critical infrastructure support functions. This position involves
empowering the Infrastructure Squad to handle Level 2 support items, monitor
system uptime, conduct maintenance checks, and manage the company’s hardware
and software assets. Additionally, you will lead comprehensive compliance and
audit initiatives to strengthen the organization’s governance and risk
management.
Key Responsibilities
ISO Compliance Management:
Oversee
the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s ISO
9001, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, ISO 22301 and other relevant standards compliance programs.
Infrastructure Support Empowerment:
Empower
the Infrastructure Squad to handle Level 2 support items and provide guidance
on technical issues.
Foster a
collaborative environment for continuous skill development within the team.
System Uptime and Monitoring:
Proactively
address alerts, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the Infrastructure
Squad for resolution.
Level 2 Ticket Support:
Support
the resolution of Level 2 tickets by providing expertise and collaborating with
the Infrastructure Squad and other teams.
Conduct
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production incidents and recommend preventive
measures.
General Maintenance Support:
Perform
or coordinate routine physical checks on servers, assess software health, and
manage update schedules.
Monitor
and manage end-of-life (EOL) cycles for hardware and software components.
Coordinate
with relevant teams to schedule and implement necessary maintenance activities.
Ensure
office communication channels are active, physical routine checks on office
phones, HDMI’, LAN cables and advice on fixes, best practices or procurement.
Asset Management:
Maintain
a comprehensive register of company hardware and software assets.
Manage
the issuance, tracking, and return of company assets/ Laptops/Desktops ets both
on
Soft and
hard copy Files and advice on procurement and upgrade needs.
Conduct
regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the asset register.
Compliance and Audit Initiatives:
Lead and
execute comprehensive compliance assessments and audits to ensure adherence to
regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Collaborate
with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address audit
findings.
Implement
corrective actions and preventive measures based on audit recommendations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain
accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities, infrastructure
support, and audit findings.
Prepare
detailed reports for management on compliance status, audit outcomes, and recommendations.
Training and Knowledge Transfer:
Provide
training sessions for the Infrastructure Squad on compliance requirements,
monitoring tools, and best practices.
Facilitate
knowledge transfer sessions to enhance the team’s capabilities.
Qualifications:
A
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant ICT-related Field.
Minimum
of 3 years of software engineering/ System Engineering in a working
environment.
