Requirements for Direct appointment
Must have:-
KCSE,
mean grade D + (plus) and above.
A
clean valid driving license class A/B/C/E with PSV endorsement.
Certificate
of good conduct.
Basic
first aid training
Occupational
trade test III or equivalent.
Minimum
six years experience
Motor
Vehicle Mechanics Trade Test III will be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities
Check
the vehicle and related requirements before the journey
Driving
carefully, safely and courteously
Carry
authorized passengers or baggage
Ensure
the safety of the vehicle and the passengers
Clean
the vehicles during and after the journey
Observe
traffic rules and regulations
Maintain
the work ticket
Ensure
compliance with statutory road requirements including licenses
Detect
and report any defect on the vehicle
Take
precautions when driving
Fill
the defects form after arriving from a journey
Respond
to emergencies
