Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable

  • This job position is generally purposed to handle all clerical activities in the departments, with close supervision from the senior officers.

Duties and responsibilities 

  • Compiling statistical reccrds
  • Sorting, filing and dispatching letters
  • Maintaining an efficient filing system
  • Preparing payment vouchers
  • Compiling data and drafting simple letters
  • Sorting out and dispatching letters
  • Maintaining an efficient filing system
  • Keeping invoices, receipts and other records
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements for appointment


For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

  • Kenyan citizen
  • Have Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D Plus or its equivalent qualification :
  • A Certificate in Business Management.
  • Have Proficiency in computer application
