Job specifications:
Duties and
responsibilities at this level will entail
- Conducting research on potential
donors/partners;
- Preparation of project proposals
for funding agencies;
- Drafting correspondence to
partners;
- Updating donor databases to
record their contacts and preference information;
- Maintaining a network of donor
contacts;
- Sensitizing and training team
members on fund raising and communications skills and strategy; and
- Organizing events for partnership
building between implementers and potential partners.
Person Specification
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the
following disciplines Communications, Marketing, Public Relations,
Business Development, Development Studies, Economics, International
Relations,
- Public Administration, Economics,
Social Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, Accountancy, Commerce
or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution and;
- Proficiency in computer
applications;
- Fulfilling the requirements of
the Chapter Six of the Constitution

integrity by submitting clearance certificates from the following institutions.
- Kenya Revenue Authority (Tax
Compliance Certificate)
- Higher Education Loans Board
(HELB)
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption
Commission (EACC Clearance)
- Directorate of Criminal
Investigations (Certificate of Good conduct)
- Certificate from an approved
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
