Our client is seeking a highly organized and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Reservationist. As a Reservationist, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their reservations, ensuring smooth and efficient booking processes. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- All reservation inquiries through any channel will be handled
and answered within a maximum of 24 hours.
- Ensure that the reservation lines are attended at all times
during scheduled hours and that sufficient staffing is present to meet the
daily business demands.
- Respond to incoming calls within 4 rings, using correct
salutations and telephone etiquette.
- Maintain confidentiality of all guest information
- Ensure that all reservations (including manual) are input
into the system accurately, completely and promptly and confirmation
numbers obtained.
- Update reservations requested by telephone and email within
24hrs.
- Checking of arrivals (2-day check) and ensure that
reservations are correct and handled proficiently.
- Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient
manner.
- Work closely with other departments to effectively
accommodate guest’s special requests and amenities.
- Checks the daily
bookings made in the Central Reservations System for the last 24 hrs to
ensure all aspects are input properly.
- Give room upgrades to VIP’s and allocate room according to
guest preferences.
- Update rooming list for crew member on a daily basis.
- Up sell hotel and promote hotel facilities.
- Records daily declines.
- Perform any additional requests deemed reasonable from
management.

- Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations
and provisions contained in the Employment Handbook
- Actively participate in training and
development programs and maximize opportunities for
self-development.
Customer Service
- Demonstrate service attributes in accordance
with industry expectations and company standards.
Health, Safety and Security
- Demonstrate understanding and awareness
of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Safety.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
Must be very organized, systematic, patient, motivated, confident
and a hard worker.
Must possess:
- A high energy level and a passion for achieving results
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good customer service and multi-tasking skills.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working in a 5-star
Hotel.
