Duties and
Responsibilities will entail:
- Spearheading negotiations with new and existing licensees for
10% free Carried interest;
- Spearheading development of legal instruments for management
of partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions
- Preparing of agreement policies and structural management
details for partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Analyzing the benefits and risks involved in partnerships,
mergers and acquisitions and advise management accordingly.
- Advising management on the best strategies to use in
partnerships, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Exploring suitable partnerships and alliances for the
Corporation.
- Providing guidance and advising on contractual agreements for
mergers, joint ventures, acquisitions and special purpose vehicles (SPVs)
for strategic minerals; and
- Preparing work plan and budgets for approval.
Qualifications
- A minimum period of eight (8) years in relevant work
experience and at least three (3) years in supervisory role;
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Engineering, Geosciences, Commerce,
Business Administration, Mineral Economics, or its equivalent
qualifications;
- Masters degree in Law, Engineering, Geosciences, Commerce,
Business Administration, Mineral Economics or its equivalent
qualifications;
- Management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a
recognized institution;
- Membership of the relevant professional institution and in
good standing;
- Certificate in investment and finance from a recognized
institution;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution
