Intern, Logistics, Project and Sales Manager
Tradestar Kenya Limited, an
outsourcing organization located in Thika town, is seeking a dedicated and fast
learning university graduate to join our company as an Logistics, Project and
Sales Manager. We are looking for someone who is committed and has a strong
foundation in their field.
Our customers are both
end-users and dealers/brokers. Our end-users are mostly in schools and
universities and professionals who use our systems for Animation, Video
broadcasting, Cad-Cam, Desktop publishing and normal business usage.
Responsibilities
- Oversee various local agriculture projects, making plans and
planning, report to management
- Instruct and supervise agriculture employees from inside back
office (some basic agriculture knowledge is required)
- Logistical management: Arrange transportation, getting
freight quotes, booking freight and verifying the goods are being
delivered in time
- Follow up on shipments and filing claims in case shipment
goes lost or damaged
- Handle customs compliance
- Handle reporting for administrative and financial filings
with relevant bodies
- Account management for new and existing customers
- Making sales follow-ups, quotations, invoicing
Skills/Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor or Art or
Science in Business Administration with Sales or Public Relations
Candidate should have recently finished university or about to finish.
Proficient in ICT, understand computer and computer accessories including
software and hardware
Basic agriculture experience or engineering experience
Excellent in Swahili and English language, both oral and written
Self-confident and with excellent communication skills
Should be results oriented and a quick learner.
Have good customer relations
Both able to work in a team and individually
Maximum of one hour travel distance from Thika
Salary: Remuneration gross of Kes. 35K per month for 40hours a week.
Incremental salary changes when employee meets or exceeds goals and targets.
Internship is for at least 3 months and can last upto 1 year depending on
progress. Upon satisfying results the position can change into a permanent job.
