The office of Medical Research at Kenyatta National Hospital in collaboration with University of Washington is seeking to fill the following position in the project “Integrating PrEP delivery in family planning clinics in Kenya” (FP Plus Study)
Position: Study Data Manager (1 position)
Reporting to: Study Coordinator
& Principal Investigator
Location: Nairobi
Job Term:1 year contract
(renewable)
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelors degree in mathematics or statistics or
Health Records and Information Management.
- Must have a minimum three-years experience in research
- Must be proficient in using excel to analyze data and
generate study reports
- Proficient in data analysis using Stata or R
- Must have a minimum two-years experience in data management
- Team player with ability to work closely with other study
staff
- Experience in RedCap and/or ODK
- Language skills: fluency in English and Kiswahili
- Excellent communication skills: Must be able to communicate
regularly with the study team via email and zoom
Duties and responsibilities
- Preparing weekly clinic reports
- Writing weekly, Monthly and Quarterly study reports, analysis
and mining of study data advice and promote best practices in monitoring
and evaluation
- Ensure quality management of study data through execution of
regular data quality audits
- Designing study database
- Data cleaning and generating QA reports
- Data entry
- Data analyses
- Abstracting project data from clinic records
- Uploading data to server
- Respond to data queries as requested
- Support study nurses with data collection activities
- Track laboratory samples and clinic retention
