Telecom Strategic Partnership Manager
Job Description.
The Strategic Partnership Manager(Telecoms) will work as
a part of the East and Southern Africa team to help Sun King expand its market
of off-grid solutions to current, and new unexplored Telecom partnerships
markets across and beyond the current active areas by finding relevant
importers and distribution partnership opportunities to help Sun King expand
its off-grid market.
We are looking for a go getter, apt researcher, capable of navigating the
internet to deliver productive leads within the off-grid industry. We are
looking for a seasoned B2B sales leader.
What you would be expected to do
Developing a strong pipeline by
reaching out to Telecom operators within East and Southern Africa.
Focus on adding quality and large
Telecom players onto the Sun King portfolio in the relevant markets with
ability to scale.
Continuously build the pipeline and
work on onboarding maximum accounts in a quarter and finally deliver on annual
targets.
Collaborate with the East and South
Africa on -grid team to improve understanding of the markets and build stronger
contacts.
Attend relevant regional conferences to
find customers and build pipelines.
Build relationship with relevant local
and regional associations to increase Sun King’s reach across the region.
You might be a strong candidate if you
Must have a bachelor’s or
master’s degree in management, marketing and sales or equivalent.
Must have at least 5 years of
experience in a Telecom operator products and services business development
role.
Must have strong written and verbal
fluency in English.
Have strong connections with
Telecoms,FinTechs across the region.
Adapt well with diverse cultures and
nationalities.
This role will entail at least
60%travel
Hands on and prompt in getting back to
partners and closing leads.
Have strong negotiation skills.
