Teacher of Sociology/ Religious Studies – Senior School
The Role
This is an exciting
opportunity for an outstanding, well-qualified teacher of Sociology and / or
Religious Studies to teach engaged and committed students across all age groups.
Although it would be
advantageous for the ideal candidate to be able to teach both subjects, we are
looking for the best person for the role and the School; this may involve a
specialism in either Sociology or Religious Studies (with the ability to teach
up to A Level essential) and a willingness to grow into teaching the second
subject.
The successful candidate
would be expected to teach at least GCSE and A Level classes in their primary
subject, and interested candidates who would like to know more details around
the relevant curricula or departments are encouraged to contact Jonathan
Williams, Deputy Head Academic, via deputysenioracademic@turimail.co.ke.
As a full boarding school,
St Andrew’s is committed to providing a vibrant co-curricular and boarding
program to which all staff contribute. The successful candidate will be an
academic tutor and attached to a specific boarding house for duties. Employment
for the appointed candidate will commence on 1 September 2023.
