Senior Registered Clinical Officer
The County Government of
Lamu wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the below
positions in compliance with the Constitution of Kenya and County Government Act.

Qualifications
For appointment to this
grade, an officer must:
- Be
a Kenyan citizen;
- Have
Served in the grade of Registered Clinical Officer I for a minimum period
of the three (3) years
- Have
Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized Institution.
- Have
Higher Diploma in Anesthesia and Community Health from a recognized
Institution;
- Have
Certificate in Supervisory Skills Course lasting not less than two (2)
weeks from a recognized institution
- Have
Certificate of Registration from the Clinical Officer’s Council of Kenya;
- Have
Valid Practicing License from the Clinical Offlcer’s Council of Kenya;
- Have
Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution;
- Shown
merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Responsibilities
- Providing
clinical services in a health facility;
- Conducting
ward rounds, reviewing and making appropriate referrals
- Carrying
out anesthesia procedures as per training and skill
- Offering
specialized clinical services including Anesthesia
- Compiling
and analyzing clinical data
- Implementing
community health care activities in liaison with other health workers
- Sensitizing
patients and clients on preventive and promotive health
- Providing
clinical outreach and school health service

- The
