Laikipia University is a Public Chartered University located 11 kms from Nyahururu Town along Nyahururu -Nakuru Road and 50 kms from Nakuru along Nakuru –Nyahururu road.

Job Title: Plumber II Grade AD 3 – One Post
Ref No LU/AD/1/1/2023
Salary Scale Kes. 23,070 – Kes. 31,144 per month

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Doing minor and major repair of plumbing in the University.
  • Attending to new and old building for plumbing installation of pipe fitting in the University.
  • Attending to Minor and major repairs of sewer pipes in the university.
  • Attending to major and minor repair of the sewer line, waste drainage and waste water pipes.

  • Any Other duties assigned by immediate supervisor.
  • Appointment to this post will be subject to the availability of a vacancy in the establishment.

Qualifications

For appointment to this post, a candidate must;

  • Government Trade Test III
  • Exemplary work performance
  • One (1) year experience in Plumbing.

  • Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal
  • Tax compliance certificate from KRA
  • Clearance certificate from Higher Education Loans
  • Clearance certificate from CRB
  • Self-declaration clearance certificate from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
