We seek to hire an Operations Supervisor to work for our client in the SME space.
The
individual will be in charge of overseeing daily business operations and team
management.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities
· Have
oversight over daily operations and apprise management of the same
· Manage
the team workflow and schedules
· Follow
up on tasks and ensure they are closed on time
· Work
with teams to ensure effective service delivery
· Supervise
staff, and manage their performance, discipline and conflict resolution
· Manage
vendors, suppliers and client relationships
· Monitor
office supplies and inventory management
· Improve
operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
· Develop, implement and improve policies, procedures and standards
· Responsible
for general bookkeeping, invoice and petty cash management
· Oversee
repair and maintenance of office tools and equipment
· Provide
any other administrative and operational support as may be lawfully required.
Required
Specifications
· Able to
work efficiently under pressure
· Possess
exemplary team management and leadership skills
· Minimum
of a Diploma in business administration/business management or any relevant
field
· At
least 3 years experience in an operations/employee supervisory/admin role or
any other similar role
· Attentive
to detail, excellent organisational and time management skills
· Proactive,
resourceful and able to solve problems and provide solutions
· Possess
outstanding communication skills (both oral and written).
· Must
have exceptional customer service skills, great interpersonal abilities and
emotional intelligence
· Knowledge
of MS Office, and possess basic accounting and numerical skills.
