Job Purpose |

To provide transport services to
Management, Staff and other Stakeholders to facilitate smooth |

running of the Authority’s activities. |

- Driving the vehicle as authorized;
- Carrying
out minor mechanical adjustments;
- Recognizing
and reporting abnormal operation of the vehicle parts;
- Ensuring
security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
- Ensuring
safety of passengers and/or goods therein;
- Maintaining
cleanliness of the vehicle; and
- Maintaining
work tickets for vehicles assigned to him/her
- Recognizing
and reporting abnormal operation of the vehicle parts;
- Administering
first aid whenever possible
- Timely
filling of hand over template to the administration officer

Job Competencies (Knowledge, Experience and Attributes /
Skills). Academic qualifications
At least a mean grade of
C- in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education;
Other requirements
- the
Occupational Trade Test II Certificate;
- a
Certificate of Good Conduct (renewable after two (2) years);
- a
First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from St.
Johns Ambulance or any other recognized institution;
Professional Qualifications / Membership to professional bodies
A valid driving license
free from any current endorsement(s) for class (es) of vehicle (s) an officer
is required to drive.
Previous relevant work experience required.
- served
in the grade of Driver for at least three (3) years;
- An
accident free driving period of 3 years
