Travel Insurance Officer

Job Summary: This role involves the identification of new business opportunities for travel insurance; and
maintenance of all travel insurance operations under the guidance of the Underwriting Manager.

Essential functions

·  Travel policy issuance and debiting.

·  Monthly reporting on travel insurance sales targets.

·  Providing all the back-office support to travel insurance marketing initiatives.


·  Issuance of travel insurance quotations to direct clients and corporates, compiling necessary
reports and obtaining relevant information from reinsurance.

·  Using the web to collect client details and contact information.

·  Administration of the monthly travel reinsurance report.

·  Prompt clients serving

·  Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Skills and Competences

·  Minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field

·  Insurance professional papers will be an added advantage

·  Minimum 3 years’ working experience in Travel business.

·  Computer literate

·  Good communication (written and verbal) skills, including well developed presentation skills.

·  Strong analytical skills

·  Report writing skills

·  People management

·  IT skills
