experienced individuals to fill the following vacancies:
SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR – REF: WSL/11/2022/SYSADM/01
The interested applicant
will be required to have the following minimum requirements
- Diploma
in Computer Science, Information Technology, management information
systems or closely related field from a recognized institution by the
Ministry Of Education.
- Bachelor’s
degree in ICT, Information systems, Computer science, BIT, Software
engineering, Computer engineering or any other Degree related to ICT is an
added advantage.
- Age
bracket 25 – 35 years
- Be
a Kenya citizen
- K.C.S.E
minimum C plain
- Any
professional course/certification related to ICT will be an added
advantage.
- Being
a member of an accredited ICT professional body will be an added advantage.
- 3-5
Years of database, network administration or system administration
experience involving Linux and Windows operating systems in a busy ICT
environment.
- A
strong combination of hardware and software competency.
- Knowledge
of ICT industry best practices, systems security data backup/recovery and
disaster recovery protocols.
- Excellent
listening and communication skills.
- Be
proactive with good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Team
player.
- Ability
to pay attention to details.
- Passion
for innovation and creativity.
- High
levels of integrity.
- Ability
to work under minimum supervision.
