GOVERNMENT RECEPTIONIST, JOB GROUP CPSB 08 (1 POST)
Terms of Service: Two (2) year contract renewable subject to satisfactory
performance.
i. Promote the culture of
quality customer care at the Office of the Governor through follow up on
customers for feedback within stipulated time frame;
ii. Handling inquiries by clarifying desired information, locating and providing information to the internal and external clients;
iii. Keeping Front Office
equipment operational by following established procedures and reporting
malfunctions;
iv. Maintaining internal
and external directories;
v. Extracting and
following up on the telephone bills to ensure prompt service delivery;
vi. Resolving Front Office
problems by clarifying customer’s complaints, determining the cause of the same
and escalating to concerned department;
vii. To keep and avail for
the Office of the Governor check in and checkout registers;
viii. Receiving client
requests relayed through email and telephone and channel them to the concerned
persons within the Office of the Governor;
ix. Supervising of work at
the switchboard and initiate better methods of telephone operations; and
x. Any other duties as may
be assigned from time to time.
For appointment to this
grade, a candidate must: –
i. Have a Diploma in Front
Office Management/Public Relation/ Customer care/IT Systems;
ii. Served in the grade of
Assistant Reception Officer I for a minimum period of three (3) years or
comparable position;
iii. Certificate in
Computer Applications;
iv. Good Communication
skills and interpersonal skills
