Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) is a State Corporation established by the Statistics Act (2006). It is the principal Government agency responsible for the collection, compilation, analysis, publication and dissemination of official statistical information and its custody. It also oversees the coordination, supervision and development of programmes within the National Statistical System (NSS).

Terms of Service: Temporary (12 months)
Job Purpose: An Intern at this level will
work under a senior officer who will be appointed as a Supervisor to guide him
/her in the performance of duties in the area of Administration.
Responsibilities
- Participating
in ensuring general cleanliness in offices is undertaken;
- Participating
in the transport services;
- Participating
in the facilitation of logistics for meetings, conferences and other
special events;
- Participating
in ensuring general maintenance of buildings and furniture is
undertaken;
- Participating
in planning occupational health and safety activities; and
- Participating
in generating administrative reports on repairs and maintenance;
- Undertaking
any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must
be a Kenyan citizen;
- Must
have attained a Bachelor Degree in the following disciplines; Public
Administration; Business Administration; Sociology; Business Management or
related qualifications from a recognized institution.
Additional information
- Should
not be engaged in another organization;
- Must
be computer literate;
- Must
be available full time for the twelve months’ duration of the program;
- Should
possess interpersonal, analytical and communication skills;
- Must
be goal oriented and dynamic;
- Take
note that the monthly stipend for Interns is Kshs. 25,000 and statutory
deductions will apply
