POSTS
Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for the office management function
and offering support to all administrative activities carried out in the
Commission.
Responsibilities
This is the entry grade for this cadre. An officer at this level
will work under the guidance of a senior officer.
- Taking
oral dictation;
- Managing
e-office;
- Word
and data processing;
- Operating
office equipment;
- Attending
to visitors/clients;
- Handling
telephone calls and appointments;
- Maintaining
office diary and travel itineraries;
- Ensuring
security of office records equipment and documents, including classified
materials;
- Preparing
responses to simple routine correspondence;
- Establishing
and monitoring procedures for record keeping of correspondence and file
movements;
- Maintaining
an up to date filing system in the office;

Qualifications

- Diploma

Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for provision of transportation
services for authorized persons as well as goods, timely and consistent
maintenance of assigned vehicles, maintenance of assigned work ticket and
ensuring security of the vehicle on and off the road
Responsibilities
- Driving
the vehicle as authorized;
- Ensuring
security and safety of the vehicle, passengers and goods on and of the
road;
- Maintaining
daily work ticket;
- Carrying
out routine checks on vehicle’s cooling, oil, electrical and brake systems
and tyre pressure;
- Detecting
and reporting vehicle defects on time;
- Ensuring
vehicle cleanliness;
- Ensuring
routine service and maintenance of the vehicle;
- Reporting
accidents promptly and following up on police abstracts; and
- Inspecting
vehicles and keeping up-to-date insurance documents.
Qualifications
For appointment to this Grade an officer must have:-
- Minimum
three(3) years’ experience as a driver
- Kenya
Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D or its equivalent;
- Valid
Class BCE Driving License free from any endorsement;
- Suitability
test /Occupational Trade Test Grade 1 for drivers;
- First-Aid
Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John
Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highways and Building Technology (KIHBT)
or any other recognized Institution.
- Certificate
of good conduct from the Kenya Police Service;
- Attended
a refresher course for drivers lasting not less than one(1) week within
three (3) years at Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology
(KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
- Certificate
in Computer application skills; and
- Shown
merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

This position is
responsible for assisting in the generation, dissemination and maintenance
of information and knowledge on good relations, harmony and peaceful
co-existence between persons of different ethnic and racial communities of
Kenya for the embrace of diversity
Responsibilities
- Collecting and compiling the type of knowledge to
develop and maintain in collaboration with technical departments;
- Compiling data on National Cohesion and
Integration for purposes of knowledge management;
- Uploading and updating relevant information in the
database in collaboration with the ICT;
- Administering resource centre materials and
offering support to users;
- Keeping and taking stock of information and
documents in the information resource centre;
- Tracking information users, equipment and
informational resources and updating the register at the information
resource centre;
- Carrying out training needs assessment in
information and knowledge management;
- Collecting information on existing types of
knowledge in the organization;
- Collecting information to inform knowledge
products in liaison with corporate communications;
- Opening a register for documents, information and
their movement in and out the information centre;
- Taking part in generation and dissemination of
information and knowledge;
- Collecting and compiling information and documents
for in putting and updating the information resource centre; and
- Preparing periodic reports.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following
