The Public Sector Accounting Standards Board (PSASB), is a
semi-autonomous State Agency established by the Public Finance Management (PFM)
Act No.18 of 2012. The Board is mandated to provide frameworks and set
standards for the development and management of accounting, financial and
internal audit systems for all state organs and public entities. The Board now
invites applications from competent individuals to fill the following vacant
position:

Overall Responsibility
The Office Administrator, will be responsible to Chief Executive Officer.
Job Description
- Coordinating
schedules of meetings and appointments for the CEO;
- Ensuring
periodic uploading of board papers on the e-board platform;
- Maintaining
the CEOs diary, calendar and schedule of appointments;
- Coordinating
local and international travel for the CEO and the Board Members;
- Management
of incoming and outgoing mails;
- Maintaining
an up to date filing system in the CEO’s office;
- Preparing
responses to routine correspondences;
- Offering
secretarial services in Management/Board meetings and follow up on action
points;
- Ensuring
the security of office records/classified materials, equipment and office
machines;
- Managing
office protocol;
- Managing
the secret registry;
- Any
other functions as may be assigned from time to time.
Job Specification
- Served
in the grade of Senior Assistant Office Administrator or equivalent for a
minimum period of Six (6) years;
- Bachelor’s
degree in secretarial Studies, Office Management, Social Sciences or
related field from a recognized institution;
- Diploma
in Secretarial studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council or
equivalent;
- Certificate
in Supervisory Skills Course lasting not less than two (2) weeks from a
recognized institution;
- Good
communication and interpersonal skills; and
- Fulfil
the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
