Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor
Our client is a growing
Pharmaceutical Company with operations in Kenya and soon expanding to other
markets within East Africa.
They seek to recruit a capable and
experienced person to join their quality assurance team.
Salary: Ksh 70,000 – 100,000 (depending
on experience)
Location: Nairobi
Duties & Responsibilities:
·
To ensure operational compliance with
the set internal and other regulatory procedures as well as continuous
improvement of the Quality Control Systems.
·
Manage quality analysis and
documentation process for all raw material, packaging and finished goods
·
Oversee the assigned activities of
the quality control laboratory
·
Ensure all documents relating to cGMP
are in place for all processes in the facility. Coordinate and develop cGMP
training on site.
·
Facilitate internal inspections and
supplier quality audits and follow up of CAPA
·
Responsible for hosting and managing
audits from PPB and other regulatory bodies and third party consumer audits.
·
Advise the management on quality
control initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
·
BSc in Pharmacy or related
qualifications from a recognized University.
·
Registered by the Pharmacy and
Poisons Board with a current practice license
·
Expert understanding of
pharmaceutical manufacturing processes
·
5 years’ experience working in a
similar capacity in a busy pharmaceutical organization
·
Good understanding of regulatory
requirements and quality guidelines
·
Strong team leadership skills
·
Able to manage the directors
expectations within the QC department

50,000 – 95,000 + Attractive Sales Commissions.

Key Responsibilities

To manage the existing business
portfolio and relationships
·
To promote the use of company
products to healthcare professionals and institutions
·
Manage and ensure delivery of monthly
sales targets and other set objectives within the assigned region.
·
Ensure growth of the company business
within the assigned territory.
·
Identify and exploit new business
opportunities within your assigned territory.
·
Execute all promotional activities on
the ground and ensure that each activity meets the set objectives.
·
Coordinate order deliveries with the
HQ teams to ensure that customers receive their orders on time.
Education, Skills and Experience
·
A degree / diploma in Pharmacy,
Clinical Medicine, Biomedical sciences or related qualifications from an
institution recognized by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
·
A Pharmaceuticals Representative
license from Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
·
3 – 5 years’ experience as a Medical
Representative.
·
Working experience in either Nairobi
or Kisumu
·
Valid Driving License.
·
Good customer relationship management
skills.
·
Ability to work with little
supervision and independently as well as working in a team.
