Job Description
M-KOPA Solar is recruiting for a Fellow within the Human
Resource-Learning and Development Department. To provide professional and
effective administrative support to the Learning and Development and HRBP
function.
Responsibilities
- To
arrange the booking of trainers, venues, travel, accommodation and
facilities for learning and development events.
- To
communicate course requirements and details to delegates, facilities,
trainers and external suppliers within agreed timescales.
- To
schedule staff to attend internal and external learning events to meet the
wider learning and development strategy.
- To
monitor and collate learning and development attendance sheets and
evaluation forms to enable amendments to programmes be made in a timely
manner.
- To
provide administrative support to staff and managers in the planning and
delivery of Learning and Development events.
- To
provide administrative support to the wider HR team, as required.
- Liaise
with the senior manager – L&D, and with L&D departmental
champions, to ensure L&D events and programs are published and
communicated to maximize take-up.
- Maintaining
up-to-date training and development records for all staff.
- To
provide assistance to other members of the HR team, on L&D matters
including sourcing training and development providers, processing purchase
orders to facilitate provider payments, onboarding support, and any other
areas within the broad spectrum of HR and L&D.
- To
provide administrative support to the senior L&D manager and HRBP
functions in the review of all HR strategies, policies and procedures.
- To
raise purchase orders on the system for the HR function.
- Any
other additional responsibility within the scope of the role to ensure
effective management of and dissemination of L&D initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s
Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management/Development, Education,
Public/Business Administration, or equivalent qualification from a
recognized institution.
- At
least 6 months experience in HR and administration.
- Outstanding
oral and written communication skills.
- Strong
organizational skills are essential to provide timely administration of
assorted duties.
- High
analytical ability to sort and apply information.
- Proficient
in navigating Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Some knowledge of M-KOPA inventory systems (i.e. M-KOPAnet, EAB, D365) is
an advantage.

Responsibilities
Reverse logistics
- Ensuring
all returns are processed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
- Maintain
accurate records of all returns daily.
- Give
reports to Team Lead Reverse Logistics in relation to incoming returns.
- Process
and transfer the returns to the relevant department.
Paygo Phones
- Setting
up PAYGO Phones: -Ensuring complete set up of PAYGO Phones in an accurate,
timely the manner in accordance with existing script.
- Deal
with basic customer queries and concerns in an effective and timely
manner.
- Monitoring
customers’ devices using the systems provided.
- Identifies
ways to improve overall customer experience.
- Provide
reports on tasks as mentioned above Compile accurate production data as
required for optimum production & machine control.
- Ensure

Position: Credit Fellow

Job Description
The Credit Intern will be in charge of
providing analysis, reporting, insights and communications regarding credit
performance of the company’s portfolio, customers, and products and services.
This includes the preparation reports used internally and by external
stakeholders. In liaison with the Credit Manager, provide key insights to
influence credit behaviour and performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide
high-quality analysis (through tools including SQL, statistical software,
excel, Power Bi, and computer science models) to inform management on
credit performance of the portfolio, products and customers.
- Contribute
to the development of reports to key stakeholders including senior
management, the board of directors and investors, including graphical
analysis, PowerPoint presentations, and verbal and written communications.
- Design
and implement experiments/initiatives geared towards improving and
maintaining a healthy credit performance across M-KOPA’s customer base.
- Contribute
to the development of credit and financial models to be used by the
business including but not limited to bad debt modelling, cash flow
modelling, and loss rate assumptions.
- Monitor
and report on key performance metrics on M-KOPA’s core products.
- Draft,
review and suggest pricing – including credit assumptions – for new and
existing products.
- Execute
work in coordination with other departments regarding credit-related
communications.
- Collaborate
with the Data/Tech Team to improve data accuracy and reliability for
reporting.
Qualifications
- A
degree in computer science, engineering, statistics or a related field, or
equivalent experience / self-directed learning.
- Experience:
At least 1-2 years of experience in analytical or quantitative role.
- Credit,
data or financial analysis skills to effectively review and report on the
performance metrics.
- Interpersonal
skills to effectively communicate with and manage business expectations
with key stakeholders.
- A
positive, learning-oriented attitude and capacity for self-empowerment.
- University
degree preferably in a quantitative field, including computer science,
statistics, engineering or finance.
- Knowledge
