Job Description
Responsible for the general cleaning of the school and any other duties that may be assigned to ensure a hygienic
environment within the school.
Responsibilities
·         Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

·         Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
Dusting, damp wiping, washing or polishing the furniture, ledges, window sills and external surfaces of
cupboards, radiators, shelves and fittings
·         Replenishing consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels) if required
·         Cleaning toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks
·         Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment (if any), in order to prevent
damage to floors and fixtures.
·         Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand to clear debris from grounds.
Qualifications
·         At least a Certificate in Housekeeping
·         Good communication skills in both English and Kiswahili
·         At least one year working experience in a similar position

Job Description
Responsible for overseeing the day to day kitchen activities and ensure that the food prepared and served is
hygienic, well cooked, tasty and in line with the approved school menu.
Responsibilities
·         Plan and prepare all meals
·         Managing the school menu and inventory related to the task
·          Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
·         Managing food items / kitchen supplies Preparing kitchen requisition in a timely manner
·         Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time
Qualifications
·         Diploma / certificate in food and beverages / food production / catering or any other related field
·         At least two (2) years extensive experience
·          Be a good communicator (fluent in English and Swahili)
·         Be well groomed and conform to the kitchen dress – code

Job Description
Responsible for safely transporting children to and from school and related events. Picking up and dropping of pupils/students at designated locations or private homes.
Responsibilities
·         Transport children from home to school and back home.
·         Operate the school motor vehicle in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies
and procedures
·         Take children for games, trips and other activities outside the school.
·         Ensuring the bus is always clean.
·         Notify Transport Manager of any accident/incident, delay, route diversion and riots immediately.
·         Maintenance of the bus including checking the condition of a vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers,
lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order.
·          Comply with traffic regulations to ensure that the vehicles operate in a safe and courteous manner
·         Report any vehicle malfunctions or needed repairs to the transport manager.
·         Follow Emergency policy when involved in emergencies or accident.
·         Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
·         Ensure that all National and County Legal requirements such as licenses, permits or certificates are met and
continually kept current or updated. This includes any motor vehicle licenses, approvals, certificates and
permits.
·          Perform any other duties as assigned on behalf of the organization including running errands, transporting
staff and ferrying students to the hospital for emergency cases.
Qualifications
·          “O” Level certificate
·          A valid certificate of good conduct.
·          Valid driver’s license with minimum class ABCE
·          5 years’ work experience as a school driver
·          Knowledge and ability to follow traffic rules.
Skills and Competencies
·          Good hand-eye coordination.
·          Good communication skills.
·          Be responsible and reliable.
·          Be able to handle unexpected situations.
·         Good in time management
