Qualifications

·         Works under the direction of Technologist in their relevant fields.
·         Maintenance of Inventory, Setting Up and Clearin
·         Appointments and Bookings of Lab Slots,
·         General Discipline and Conduct of Students during The Lab
·         Planned Preventive Maintenance, Cleanliness, Security & s according to statutory requirements.

Legal Officer

GRADE 12 – One (1) Position  TMUC/ADM/01/19
Qualifications
·         Must be a holder of an LLB from a recognized institution with a postgraduate diploma in law from Kenya School of Law.
·         Must have at least three (3) years relevant work experience
·         Be computer literate.
·         Advocate of the High Court of Kenya
·         Current Law Practicing Certificate CPS (K)
·         Display litigation skills, research skills, legal administrative skills and must pay attention to details.
Responsibilities
·         Provide expert and effective legal advice to the University College.
·         Serve regularly on various standing University Committee, ad hoc working groups and talk forces as a legal expert to take care of all legal necessities in framing of policies for the institution.
·         Prepare budget estimates for the legal office for consideration and allocation of funds to facilitate the operation of the office.
·         Supervise and regularly monitor the contesting cases in courts for the institution to ensure they are run with objectivity.
·         Take custody of all legal instruments of the University College and ensure they are readily available for reference at all times and when necessary.
·         Provide authoritative legal advice and consultancy to the University College, its staff and students on a range of general issues to ensure that everything is done within the law and the interest of the University College is safeguarded at all times.
·         Support the University College administration in the development, application and review of the College’s regulations, policies and procedures which involve legal considerations to ensure that no human rights are violated at any time.
·         Regularly draft, update and review contracts and other legal documentation and to develop standard form legal wherever possible to ensure all clauses have no compromise.
·         Coordinate the University College’s regular dealings with external firms, and ensure that the University benefits from cost-effective legal advice and work.
·         Manage the periodic tendering process for the appointment of the University
·         College’s external legal advisors to ensure it is done properly and objectively.
·         Represent the University College in all types of suits, criminal or civil witness, or attest or commission documents on behalf of the Universi pguard the interest of the University at all times.
·         Attend and advise on all disciplinary cases both for st their rights are not infringed and are given a fair hearing
·         Provide guidance to the Council on their duties and res of governance.
·         Ensuring the timely preparation and circulation of Board and Committee papers; Ensuring timely circulation of Council and Committee minutes; Be custodian of the seal of the organization and account to the Council for its use; Ensuring that the Council members are aware of all relevant laws affecting the organization
·         Facilitate effective communication between the organization and the shareholders
·         Ensuring that annual returns are promptly filed with the relevant authorities and
·         Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications
·         Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences from a recognized institution
·         A minimum of nine (9) years cumulative working experience in a well-established and automated academic library.
·         Must be computer proficient
·         Must have hands-on knowledge on use of library management systems.
·         Must be a Member to a relevant professional Society/Association
·         A minimum of three (3) years working experience as an Assistant Librarian, Grade 11 in a well-established and automated academic library.
·         Must have demonstrated exemplary performance in his/her duties.
Responsibilities
·         Manage Abstracting and indexing of information materials
·         Manage Acquisition of information materials
·         Ensure conformity to cataloguing and classification standards
·         Maintain user profiles
·         Provide Current Awareness Services (CAS)
·         Provide Selective Dissemination of Information (SDI)
·         Prepare estimates of expenditure and vote control
·         Provide training in Information Literacy Skills.

Internal Auditor

GRADE 12            – One (1) Position – TMUC/ADM/05/19
Qualifications
·         Master’s degree from a recognized University in a relevant field such as Accounting/ Finance.
·         CPA (K) I CIA, CISA
·         Nine (9) years relevant experience of which three years must be at grade 11 or its equivalent.
·         Must be a registered member of ICPAK or an equivalent professional body
·         Computer literacy in relevant packages is mandatory.
Responsibilities
An Internal Auditor may be assigned to be in-charge of a section/unit.
·         Responsible for a given audit assignment in a University.
·         Take charge of an audit assignment and make reports to the immediate supervisor.
·         To supervise and appraise staff below him/her.
·         Will be expected to develop audit techniques and processes.
·         Ensure implementation of Audit policies and programmes in the University.
·         Perform any other relevant duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing /Supply Management.
·         Diploma in Supplies Management from a recognized institution
·         At least five (5) years relevant experience three (3) of which must be at the level of grade 9 or its equivalent.
·         Registered and has current license with the Kenya Institute of Supplies
·         Management (KISM) or an equivalent professional body.
·         Practical Knowledge of ICT in relevant packages
Responsibilities
·         Management of all Purchasing activities
·         Drafting of Tender Committee agendas for (CPOs) approv

Qualifications

Responsibilities
·         Ensure quality assurance, techniques and controls.
·         Performing laboratory procedures for pathological investigation.
·         Maintain laboratory records.
·         Collection of postage results.
·         Ensure quality techniques and efficiency of recording, reporting and postage of results
·         Performing advanced pathological laboratory procedures and investigations.
·         Plan, supervise, evaluate and coordinate provision of laboratory services.

Qualifications
·         KCSE mean grade (C plain) and above
·         A clean valid driving license class A/B/C/E/D with PSV endorsement.

·         Basic first aid training /firefighting certificate
·         Occupational trade test I or equivalent.
·         Minimum five (5) years bus driving experience
·         Motor Vehicle mechanics trade test I will be an added advantage
·         Have attended a course in Defensive driving
·         Must be conversant with the layout of Kenya especially
