Accounts Assistant


Our client, 2NK Sacco, a deposit taking SACCO based in Nyeri County wishes to recruit suitably qualified and experienced individual for Accounts Assistant Position (REF NO.ACCAST/CCIA 2019)
Responsibilities
·         Processing transactions, issuing cheques, updating ledgers, budgets, etc.
·         Assisting with audits.

·         Ensuring all payments amounts & records are accurate.
·         Preparation of statutory accounts.
·         Be computer literate: Proficiency in word, Excel and power point.
·         Make bank deposits and keep up-to-date records
·         Preparation and payment of compliance dues; VAT , Corporate Tax etc
Qualifications
·         A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance or a related business field or its equivalent
·         Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience preferably in a busy organization
·         A team player with excellent communication skills and high standards of ethics
·         Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
·         Have ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines

Petrol Station Manager

Our client, 2NK Sacco, a deposit taking SACCO based in Nyeri County wishes to recruit suitably qualified and experienced individual for Petrol Manager Position (REF NO.PETMAN/CCIA 2019)
Responsibilities
·         Ensure petrol filling station facilities are maintained to a high standard throughout the day.
·         Complete inspections, making sure that the fore court complies with Environment, Petroleum and Health and Safety restrictions.
·         Complete fuel price surveys in line with company policy.
·         Analyze trends and ensure effective controls are in place to keep customer non-payments and drive offs to a minimum.
·         Support investigations into till shorts/overs and pricing errors.
·         Maintain a legally compliant all relevant checks are completed and training is up to date for Age restricted sales.
·         Deliver and sustain business plan and change activities on time.
·         All direct deliveries are accepted in line with the company policy.
·         Stock loss is within the company tolerance.
·         Ensure the station run in line with procedural requirements and ensure full compliance with all company as well as government regulations.
·         Coordinate all 2NK petroleum projects and initiatives introduced such as promotional and marketing activities from time to time.
·         Ensuring that staff know their jobs through regular training and coaching.

·         Maintain inventory controls of materials, items and products.
·         Maintain good relationship with vendors and suppliers.
·         Participate in cross-functional team meetings and events to enhance quality in services.
·         Assign, schedule and monitor the task of service station personnel.
Qualifications
·         Must have at least 5 years’ experience in management of a petrol station;
·         A diploma in a business related field;
·         Should be computer literate.
·         General knowledge and experience in overseeing petrol station operations

Teller

Our client, 2NK Sacco, a deposit taking SACCO based in Nyeri County wishes to recruit suitably qualified and experienced individual for Teller Position (REF NO.TELL/CCIA 2019)
Responsibilities
·         Paying customer against proper documentation.
·         Receiving deposits from customers.
·         Ensuring cheques and cash are banked and input in the system.
·         Reconciliation of cash transactions on a daily basis.
·         Maintain and update treasury register.
·         Promote the Sacco’s products and handle queries at the counter.
·         Prepare teller reconciliation report.
·         Return the balance of cash to the treasury before close of day’s business.
·         Maintains highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
·         Assist in ordering, receiving, verifying and distributing cash.
·         Examine checks for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments and the legality of the documents.
·         Count currency, coins and cheques received, by hand or using currency-counting machine, in order to prepare them for deposit.
·         Enter customers’ transactions into computers in order to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
·         Monitor bank vaults to ensure cash balances are correct.
·         Perform any other duties as may be assigned
Qualifications
·         A business related Diploma or its equivalent
·         A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
·         Minimum of C plain in O level
·         Computer skills proficiency.
·         Ability to work under pressure.
·         Good communication skills.
