The person will be responsible for bio data entry from the various product forms into into the Cytonn Client Relationship Management System “CRIMS”, verification of Know Your Customer “KYC” documents and ensure forms and KYC are uploaded into CRIMS, physical filling of the documents for ease of retrival and follow up with clients for completeness of KYC documentation.
Responsibilities
·         Receipt of all client documents including Know Your Customer “KYC” documents
·         Compliance check in accordance with regulations
·         Following up clients with regard to documents compliance
·         Entering and recording client details in the Client Relationship Management System
·         Filing and retrieval of client documents
·         Preparing required daily output reports
·         Following up and tracking of tasks to ensure timely closure
·         Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
·         A minimum qualification of at least C plain and above or equivalent in High School
·         A diploma certification
·         Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
·         Strong organizational and time management skills – ability to adhere to deadlines, multi-tasker and be able to prioritize tasks
·         Entrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated creativity & a mindset to be innovative and seek solutions
·         Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a demanding environment

Alternative Investment Internship

To manage it’s rapid growth, the company is looking for highly motivated, dynamic, self driven and hardworking individuals with strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills to join the Alternative Investments Internship. The Internship has the opportunity for full-time employment for candidates who successfully pass through the internship programme
Responsibilities
·         Connecting real estate market research to real estate investment and guiding a real estate investment project through the entire development process, with oversight over the entire development from an investment and return perspective
·         Participate in all aspects of the private equity transaction process including deal sourcing, industry research, financial modelling and valuation, preparing investment memoranda, due diligence and ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies
·         Conducting fundamental investment opportunity research and analysis in private equity and real estate
·         Conduct financial modelling and analysis in MS Excel, including: design models; identify key drivers and build in sensitivities as appropriate; strong understanding of different valuation methodologies; and ability to identify relative defects and effectiveness of each valuation tool. This will include all investment analysis tools, such as NPV’s, IRR’s and all metrics to capture return on investment
·         Learning of investment analysis in private equity, structured products, equities & fixed income, and analysing historical and projected financial statements & investment data
·         Participating in the evaluation, formulation and implementation of investment strategies
·         Ensure all client queries on real estate and investment products are responded to in a timely manner
·         Ensure feedback from clients and Real Estate Financial Advisors on real estate and investment products is acted upon appropriately
·         Facilitate communication between the Distribution Team, Real Estate Investments Team and Operations Team, on real estate products and related matters
·         Preparing written reports and presentations, and contributing in team meetings
·         Developing and following through on work plans towards the actualisation of investment opportunities for Cytonn Hospitality, which focuses on delivering Serviced Apartments through development or purchase and refurbishment;
·         Leading Cytonn Hospitality initiatives that have been approved for implementation by the Board;
·         Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

The Senior Legal Analyst shall provide Company secretarial services, and manage the legal aspects of various real estate developments of Cytonn Real Estate. The position will afford successful individuals a unique opportunity to participate in both a strong incentive structure and equity ownership plan.
Responsibilities
·         Advising on all matters regarding Investments and real estate; including the interpretation, impact and effect of the relevant laws
·         Assisting in the co-ordination of legal due diligence, documentation and closing of transactions
·         Developing Compliance checks on all facets of Law affecting the business
·         Executing the legal real estate strategy across the project life-cycle; including deal origination, conveyancing, project management and facilities management
·         Negotiating, drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts
·         Liaising with external lawyers
·         Designing commercial and legal structures that lead to innovative solutions

Qualifications
·         At least three years relevant experience in the conveyancing department of a busy law firm or corporation
·         An advocate of the High Court of Kenya in good standing ( a Commissioner for Oaths will be an added advantage)
·         A Certified Public Secretary
·         A Second Class Upper Degree in Law (LL. B) from a recognized University
·         Must have attained a B+ and above in O levels/ high school
·         Knowledge, relevant practice and understanding of conveyancing practice
